Hi ,
Christmas day I was fortunate enough to be able to take my
kids to Disney World. One of the nice things about it is it
was free.
I have been divorced for almost two years and I am visiting
my kids in Orlando and asked some friends "where can I take
the kids on Christmas Day? They said, "Take them to Disney
World, and the best part is it's free".
And they were right! If you drive through Disney World you
will come to "Downtown Disney". Downtown Disney is entirely
free. No fee to park and free to get in. You can walk through
all the different attractions, shops, eateries all for free,
of course unless you buy something from a shop or two.
So we ended up going and had a blast! The kids saved a
little Christmas money and bought a couple small toys at
T Rex Land and The Apricot Shop and we had a great time.
If you are ever in Orlando and looking for something inexpensive
and fun to do with the kids, I highly recommend Downtown
Disney!
Anyway, while we were there and taking pictures I paged
through my 11 year old daughters iPod Touch just to make
sure there wasn't anything in there that shouldn't be (as
all good parents do). And as I was looking through her iPod a
reminder message came up.
It said "call Dad every day!".
That made my entire Christmas!
