Good Morning !
In October, 2014, the International Classification for Diseases,
(ICD-10) will become the new standard, replacing ICD-9. It will
require that everyone, including coders, insurance companies and
physicians learn and use the new coding system.
Yes, ICD-10 marks a new way of doing things and there will be
thousands of new codes. But have no fear! As a coder, there a
number of things you can do to make the transition as painless as
possible.
